MEXICO 66 SIZING GUIDE
The Mexico 66 fits true to size for most people, on a slim, low last that sits close to the foot. Here is the chart we sell by, how the men and women tabs on our product pages relate, and the two cases where you should size up.
Does the Mexico 66 run true to size?
Yes. Take the US size you wear in most sneakers. The shoe is built on a narrow 1966 racing last, so it hugs the midfoot and the toe box is slim rather than roomy. The leather is soft and gives a little after two or three wears; the suede toe cap does not stretch.
Two exceptions. If you have a wide foot or a high instep, go up a half size. If you are between sizes, go up, not down: the extra length disappears once the leather settles and a tight Mexico 66 stays tight.

Onitsuka Tiger sizes the shoe in centimeters. US men and US women are labels on the same shoe; the women label is the men label plus 1.5. This is the chart the brand publishes, and the one our Men and Women tabs follow.

Men and women tabs on our product pages
Every Mexico 66 at OG Store is one unisex shoe sold in two labelled series: Men (US 4 to 11) and Women (US 5.5 to 12.5). Pick the tab that matches the sizing you normally use and choose your usual number. The label you pick, for example "M 8H" or "W 9.5", is what appears at checkout and on the box label, so there is nothing to convert.
H means half: M 8H is a men's US 8.5. A women's US 9 is the same shoe as a men's US 7.5.
Mexico 66 TGRS (the buckle version) sizes differently
The TGRS, the Mary Jane build with two buckle straps, is sold in women's US 5.5 to 9.5 only (EU 36 to 41.5). It fits like the lace-up in length; the straps take care of the width. Its own chart is on the product page.

Questions people ask
- Should I size up in the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66?
- Only if you have a wide foot, a high instep, or you are between sizes. Everyone else takes their usual US sneaker size.
- What is the difference between men's and women's Mexico 66 sizes?
- It is the same shoe with two labels. The women's US size is the men's US size plus 1.5: a women's 9 equals a men's 7.5.
- What does 8H mean on the size selector?
- H is a half size. M 8H is a men's US 8.5, W 8H is a women's US 8.5.
- Is the Mexico 66 narrow?
- Yes. It is a slim 1966 racing last. Regular feet fit true to size; wide feet should go up a half size.
- What if my Mexico 66 does not fit?
